John Frusciante, guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, has officially left the funk group for the second time. Fruscainte says that he had left years ago when the band went on a long period break after the release of their album "Staduim Arcadium".
“There was no drama or anger involved, and the other guys were very understanding,” Frusciante writes. “They are supportive of my doing whatever makes me happy and that goes both ways."
What will he do now? He will continue his solo work and retire to his Hollywood home. However this is not the biggest question that Chili Pepper fans are asking. Who will replace him? A guitarist and a good friend of his Josh Klinghoffer, one who had toured with them also. Will he be able to fill the guitar legend's shoes. We'll find out when the new Chili Pepper album comes out this next year.
