John Frusciante is Leaving the Red Hot Chili Peppers (again)

John Frusciante,guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, has officially left the funk group for the second time. Fruscainte says that he had left years ago when the band went on a long period break after the release of their album "Staduim Arcadium".

“There was no drama or anger involved, and the other guys were very understanding,” Frusciante writes. “They are supportive of my doing whatever makes me happy and that goes both ways."

What will he do now? He will continue his solo work and retire to his Hollywood home. However this is not the biggest question that Chili Pepper fans are asking. Who will replace him? A guitarist and a good friend of his Josh Klinghoffer, one who had toured with them also. Will he be able to fill the guitar legend's shoes. We'll find out when the new Chili Pepper album comes out this next year.

What makes a leader a true leader?

I would love to write about how a true leader is strong, hardworking, loving and would "take a bullet" for a citizen, however now all that is required is good speaking skills and money(a lot of it).

Why don't we great great presidents? "O this guy is gonna be great!", says my mom every 4 years. "He is gonna get us out of this mess". We don't get good presidents because all the citizens that would be true leaders don't have the ego that every person who says "I think I am good enough the president of the United States of America" has. All those that have the talent of great leadership unfortunately also have the talent of being humble.

If you wanna be president your going to have to sell your values and tell he people what they want to hear. If only we could have George Washington as president(but that is a different story).

Being Thankful...

There are many things to be thankful for...
1)A home- I am grateful for my house especially during this time of the year, because it is so cold outside.

2)Food(anytime I want it)- I am very glad that I don't wonder where my next meal is going to come from.

3)Safety- Needless to say that it's comforting to know that I wont get shot on my way to school.

I often wonder what it would be like without the things I have today. I wanna give it a try(just for a day of course).

Julius Caesar Book Review

Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare bored me with its overcomplicated and dramatic tale. It has a solid story and plot however Shakespeare uses to many literary devices and you soon lose what was great about the story.

One of the many characters in the play is Brutus, a wealthy, well respected senator, who forces the conspiracy to thrive. Brutus's story does not end well as his wife, Partia, swallows hot coals, he would also share the same fate. Another key character in the play is Mark Antony, one excellent with words and seems to sway other's opinions. He did not help murder Caesar, however he uses his skill with words to convince the Senate to do what he pleases. Playing a surprisingly small role is Julius Caesar, emperor of Rome at the time.

The plot and idea of the play is excellent however Shakespeare fails to captivate the reader. Definitely stay away from this book.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens gives young adults helpful tips on how to improve their lives and to increase their self confidence. My personal favorite habit is# 7, Sharpen the Saw. Why? Because there is nothing to it, just relax and let yourself recharge which is a lot easier then Think Win- Win. Think Win Win is hard for me because I am very competitive. Helping others "catch up" to me is hard because I want to have more or be better then them. However I decided to change this and attempted to try to increase my skill in this habit. I can conclude that it helps me feel better and it picks up my fellow peers, and in the end they help me to return the favor. By following thees rules or habits I became more productive and less wasteful, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens is a great boost for any young adult.

Animal Farm Book Review

George Orwell's Animal Farm filled me with emotion by forcing an opinion of a character always, for every character there is a strong opinion. This book symbolizes the Russian Revolution by comparing the country to a farm, the former government to humans and the new government to animals, who take over the farm. The book begins very strongly and absorbs the reader however ending poorly you feel as if there was not a resolution.

"Mr. Jones, of the Manor Farm, had locked the hen-houses for the night, but was too drunk to remember to shut the popholes.", the Manor farm is poorly operated by Mr. Jones, his wife, and a few workers. The underfed and overworked animals are prompted to take action by an old pig named Major who has had enough of the owners. Major dies however he leaves behind a song entitled "Beasts of England". Two other pigs, Snowball and Napoleon, take charge of the revolt and they attack the owners quite spontaneously forcing them to flee! The animals rejoice and make a set of rules entitled "The Seven Commandments". Immediately after the revolt two pigs take control; Napoleon and Snowball. These two argued over everything and they held weekly meetings, after every meeting they would sing the song "Beasts of England" which was there "national anthem". Eventually there was a schism between those who chose to follow Napoleon and those who followed Snowball, in the end Snowball would be forced to leave. Napoleon would soon become corrupt and change the rules. Will Napoleon break the coveted rule #1 trading with humans? How far will he take his power?

The characters is what makes the book truly great. From begging to end the reader has a strong opinion of them, you either love them or want hate them. Napoleon, the pig in charge seems to be a reasonable leader however this changes as he starts to drink, something totally against the 7 commandments. Then he starts to wear clothes and forces other animals to march. He continues to make changes to the & Commandments. He change "no animal shall drink" to "no animal shall drink to access. The same to the commandment to no animal shall trade. Will Napoleon. take his power as far as trading with humans?

Animal Farm is a terrific thoruogh book however at the end you fell as there is more to be done, like there has not been a resolution. If you like making connections and governments read Animal Farm.

What Nietzche Really Said Book Review

What Nietzche Really Said by Robert C. Solomon and Kathleen M. Higgins captivated me with new ideas rarely spoken. Such ideas never leave the mind as they twist and turn everything heard before on matters such as religion, government, and the "übermensch".

The book describes 30 rumors about Nietzche and tell why they not true. "Rumor #3, Nietzche was a Nazi" The author goes on and describes how this would be impossible due to the fact that Nietzche died in 1900 and the Nazi party began in 1919! However this would make sense because Nietzche's values almost always agreed with the Nazis.

Next, Fredrick Nietzche himself, the one and only character. Fredrick believed in the something called the "Übermensch" or the Superman, not a superhero but a man at top physical condition, he strongly thought that everyone should exercise and become their best. However he often took this too far as he was caught saying "might makes it right". or if your powerful enough or strong enough whatever your opinion is, that is right. His thoughts were often congealed and grotesque even to the point where he was checked into in an insane asylum. If you get offended by values conflicting with your own don't read this book!

What Nietzche really said is an extremely captivating, mind altering book. The ideas make you think about the truth and question what has been taught to so fervently.

Scar Tissue Book Review

Anthony Kiedis's Scar Tissue absorbed me with entertaining adventure and frighting tales of near death experiences. Assuming the position of a Red Hot Chili Pepper fan the book is very captivating, however if this is not the case the book can be overwhelming and grotesque.

In 1983 The Red Hot Chili Peppers busted out of the punk rock scene in L.A., the band's singer/front man, Anthony Kiedis has been there for the whole roller coaster ride, all together the band has been together for over 2 decades and 9 albums, quite a feat by today's standards. The Chili Peppers were the first band to combine Punk Rock and Funk and their music seems to fill people with emotion, good or bad. The most important element in their journey to success was their unusual shows. Originally they would tie socks on their privates and go out on stage naked, but they were also known to dress up randomly, such as rabbis or light bulbs. However this story includes more then music, Anthony heavily indulges in drugs of all kinds and backgrounds and occasionally going to great lengths to supply his "needs" . His father, dubbed "Spider", at one time was the most prestigious drug dealer in L.A., he had sold drugs to bands like Led Zeppelin and The Who who regularly stopped by to see him. This meant that Kiedis was constantly exposed to these activities at a fairly young age. "I had only been in L.A. for a day or two and I was on my way to doing almost everything imaginable in that kitchen. Palm Avenue West Hollywood. 1973" If the discussion of illegal activities is not pleasing do not read this book!



The Characters truly make the book lively and energetic. Flea, the band's bassists, was nicknamed by Kiedis because of his jumpy, peppy personality. These two were together almost to much, as they went on skiing trips (it was on one of these adventures that the nickname Flea was bestowed), skateboarding around Hollywood, or back to Michigan, where Kiedis was born. John, the band's guitarist, and Flea had a deep musical attachment, this proves useful when the band spontaneously "jams". One knows what the other plans to play before the other does! The most amazing circumstance was that the whole band each had a deep friendship and understanding of each other, and it's this camaraderie that makes the book so spectacular.

This book is about a rock star and his band so it does occasionally contain explicit materials, however the book is exponentially captivating and refreshing. Again assuming the position of a Red Hot Chili Pepper fan the book is absorbing however if this is not the case the book can be overwhelming and grotesque.

The Time Machine Book Review

The Time Machine by Herbert George Wells exhausted me with its constant movement, in distance and in time, but maintained my interest as the Time Traveler unfolds discoveries in unusual worlds. The book was compelling however it was too consistent as there was a lack of new additions.



The Time Traveler, his real name is not mentioned, had invented a machine that enabled him to travel through time. Even after a small demonstration many men, such as the Journalist, didn't believe him. "the Journalist,to, would not believe at any price, and joined the Editor in the easy work of ridicule on the whole thing". The time traveler travels to the year 802,701 where the people, called the Eloi, seemed to be on the same academic level as a 5 year old. "They would come to me with eager cries of astonishment like children, but like children they would soon stop examining me and wonder away after some another to." The traveler would soon save one of the citizens from a river and later learned that her name was Weena. He went back to his machine but it was gone! Where is his machine? Who took it? Were will he travel next? The answers lie in the book.

The Time Traveler explores a few different areas. The first is a communistic community filled the Eloi, and the second is one carpeted with Morlocks, spider like creatures with human heads and colored white. The Morlocks land was covered in well shaped tunnels, these were used as a transportation system. After this community the traveler travels to a place with giant craps, he is unhurt by the crabs however he decided to go even farther ahead and discovers an iceland.


The Time Machine was a very pleasing book however it failed to maintain my interest as it was too challenging to keep up with the speed of the book. If you where given a choice, don't read The Time Machine.

Worst jobs of all time.

Looking for a good job is so boring. Here are some jobs that i think would be the worst of all time.

3.Being a photographer during the running of the bulls in spain.
